Halfway there and officially back to my Wife Life!!!!

New Study Area

Exam results came out today and despite everything that happened, I STILL PASSED!!!!!
I am so happy I only have to focus on the USMLE now. Hahaha! Funny how medical school changes your idea of Summer. Over all it hs been great being home, I have been using jetlag to my advantage. I wake up between 5:30-6am and manage to shower and report to the perfect study area(my amazing husband set up for me my first day back) by 6-6:30 am.  At 8 am or 9 am (depending on Bens work day) he wakes up and one of us cooks breakfast, that’s when I take my first 1-hour break for some quality hubby time, then I’m back at the table to study. Ben typically reads and works out and enjoys summertime before work.  Sometimes we have a mini -lunch break together and a mid day nap before Ben goes to work. After studying for hours I try to cook to have food ready by 10 or 11 pm when Ben gets home. We finish eating around 12 and I do light studying in bed until 2am. It’s a bit of a weird schedule, but its been working. I actually love that I’m used to getting up early now because by 6pm I can say I already studied at least 10 hours today and I still have SOOOO much time left!

Today is the first day that I didn’t taken the midday nap and I hope do to away with it but I’m not sure if I am going to end up crashing later today. I woke up at 2:30 am frantically refreshing the student portal for exam results, I only slept one hour between then and now, 4:30 pm. I planned on napping after the results came out, but I was WAY too excited, now I’m going to eat dinner with my mom in an hour. Anyway, I’m glad this headache is over! Going to enjoy this night off and its back to the USMLE!

Love Well,

Wife MD

Oh!,
Advice for anyone who is not a morning person: Just move out of the country to a place that is 7 hours ahead. Then when you move home, 6am feels like 1pm, everyday is sleeping in!

Simple :D
