Falling into place

Night 1 in Romania at Caru' cu Bere.
Everything is falling into place, and I actually have an idea of where I’m going to be for the next few months. About a month ago I received an email from school that the clinical sites for 3rd and 4th year have changed. Puerto Rico was added to the list and the ones in mainland USA were cut in half. The school was going to use random allocation for the North American sites offered, meaning a computer randomly decided where I would be living and pretty much if I would be living with my husband or not. The two+ weeks we had to wait to hear where we would be places was extremely distracting and really threw me off my study scheule, but 2 weeks ago I finally heard that I would be allocated to my first choice, which means Ben, and I will no longer be long distance!!! I was so excited it felt like we just got engaged all over again. After that, everything else started to fall into place. I scheduled my USMLE, the 5K dates were announced, I secured an internship with a pediatric neurologist and my family is arranging a family reunion. I also have my Masters degree class schedule for 2015-2016. Now that my USMLE has a set date, I am freaking out about how much studying I have to do, how close the end of year exams are, and how soon I have to pack up to move home. I’m motivated, excited, nervous, and enthusiastic, I am pretty much all over the place. But for now, I need to enjoy my last real vacation for this 3-day weekend in Romania with my best friend. After this, School, Study Sleep, Repeat.
