Easter in Jerusalem and Surprise visit to my mom in Georgia

I intended on posting more pictures and details about my Easter break, but some news I heard over break will probably have me posting a lot less than I already do.

I have to say that so far during my first year of medical school, I probably have/will be going through some of the toughest things that I will ever have to go through. Somehow, through it all I still feel happy, energetic, and appreciative of my life. I have a supportive and strong husband and a great support system, at home and in Cyprus. They are keeping me smiling and motivated throughout it all. I feel surrounded by love.

Facebook Status April 24th:
Im so thankful for my friends right now. The ones that dropped everything that they were doing when i decided to make a last minute trip to Georgia, to make sure they saw me, those who packed bags to stay the night with us and one who drove two hours just to spend a short time awake with my family then having to wake up at 5am to drive the two hours back to work. Also to my family in Cyprus who give the best virtual hugs  I am really blessed with some amazing people

Camel Ride
I am currently still home on a short 1 week leave, and trying to keep up with the work from a distance. I am a little nervous and anxious, especially about the work load when I return to school, but I know the best thing I can do for now is to make sure I stay as focused as possible.

Anyway, here are some pictures from Israel and my time back home.
